Mall on lockdown [PHOTO/VIDEO], A suspect who fired about 50 shots in the parking lot of a crowded Southern California shopping mall, sending shoppers sprinting for safety, was cooperative when officers took him into custody, authorities said Sunday.
Newport Beach police spokeswoman Cathy Lowe says 42-year-old Marcos Gurrola fired shots into the air and onto the ground before he was arrested by police officers patrolling around the open-air Fashion Island mall. Go here for more including photo and video.
