Monoamniotic twins [PHOTO, VIDEO], A rare set of Monoamniotic twins born premature have been cleared by docs and are finally home with their parents in Maryland eight weeks sooner than expected.

The "momo" boys, Brooks and Nolan Bauer, were born by Caesarian section Feb. 13 a full two months early because they shared the same amniotic sac (monoamniotic).

Monoamniotic twins are rare, occurring once in every 10,000 pregnancies, said Dr. Claire Weitz, the obstetrician and gynecologist who oversaw mom Katie Bauer's care. Go here for more including photos and video.
